Miraflores Park Plaza (now Belmond Miraflores) in the capital city of Lima, Peru was constructed in a prime location with panoramic views of the neighboring ocean and surrounded by the trendy restaurants the upmarket neighbourhood of Miraflores has to offer. It is now a sought after stop off with spacious suites, a glass walled rooftop pool, a spa, an elegant restaurant and exceptional service.


As a large tower with ocean facing views in the affluent district of Miraflores in Lima, Miraflores Park Plaza had the facilities to cater for discerning business consumers as well as holidaymakers. Prohotel was tasked with overseeing all marketing and sales in the Americas with the challenge of focusing on both the corporate and leisure market in order to position the property as the best hotel in Peru.


We utilized our sales force to expand the corporate market as well as focused on the media to reach the leisure audience. We targeted specific press and businesses to showcase Miraflores Park Plaza as the first truly qualified luxury hotel in Peru and also promoted the property’s outstanding restaurant given Lima’s reputation as a renowned culinary hub.


Miraflores Park Hotel became the first member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World in South America and since holding this prestigious title, the property continued to increase both its visitors and reputation. Due to its success, it was purchased by the luxury hotel brand, Belmond (formerly Orient Express) after which we continued to handle the hotel’s marketing ventures in the Americas for two years.
